Over the years, our love for our furry friends has grown tremendously.
We are dedicated towards finding loving homes for our kittens and placing them with families who will care for them for many years to come.

What are Maine Coons?

Maine Coons are a popular large cat breed often referred to as "gentle giants", due to their easy-going and affectionate personality.
​They also have a distinctly kind disposition, as they usually get along with children and other pets.
They are known for their large size, both within their weight and the long, shaggy coat that they adorn, as well as their variety of colors in four distinct classes: solid, classic, mackerel and ticked.
​Maine Coon's are usually sought after as family pets, companions, and therapy cats.

Health Details from Our Cattery

​Maine Coons from within Elegant Lynx Cattery breeding program
have completed Ultrasound Heart Testing and have Genetic Testing.
Genetic Testing includes: HCM, SMA, PK Def and PKD1.
Dr. Beal from ​Northeastern Veterinary Care Center,
is who we use for our feline care.
Dr. Beal is dedicated towards her patients.
She takes her time to make sure the care she provides is not only individualized, but thorough, and full of love. ​Even during her home visits,
she puts a smile on everyone’s face.
